PAPERPLANEPROJECT was created by DripDrop Collective as a multi-media art installation achieved through cooperation and friendship between people of seven nations: USA, South Africa, Israel, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia and UK.​ 

 

All countries involved had an animated character in charge of catching and releasing the plane towards its next location; each location hosting its own event and tuning into a stream of live-video communication during paper plane's flight.
